Huff Realty Expands in Southeast Indiana
Huff Realty expands in the southeastern Indiana market with the purchase of two real estate firms. Century 21 Home Team in Lawrenceburg and Red Apple Realtors Inc. in Sunman will become part of Huff, according to a news release. The purchase will extend Huff’s reach into Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties in Indiana, the company said in the release. Century 21 and Red Apple’s services will be combined at the Lawrenceburg office, and the company will operate under the Huff Realty name. “Huff Realty will continue to merge with quality real estate operations that have long-term, positive growth prospects for the future,” said Bill Heckman, general manager for Huff, in the release. “We are pursuing an aggressive growth strategy at a time when many real estate companies are compelled to cut back.” Fort Mitchell, KY-based Huff Realty is a member of HomeServices of America, a unit of Berkshire Hathaway.

Marc, happy to hear of Huff's growth. In tough economic times like these, it's the leaders in the industry who are there to take a chance and grow. This not only helps the company but provides quality service for the residents of the markets newly affected. Our recent expansion at Rubloff http://www.rubloff.com to Evanston has been well received and I imagine you will have the same success.

Congratulations on breaking into the Indiana market Marc. It's exciting news especially during such challenging real estate market conditions. We're holding our own here in Columbus and looking forward to a brighter 2009. Your company's commitment to growth and expansion is admirable. Best of luck!
